Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the feeding bottle, teat, and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50° C* / 104-122° F*.
Add the desired amount of boiled water (see Table) to bottle.
Measure recommended amount of formula powder (see Table). Level the baby formula on the measuring spoon and add the powder to the water.
Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
Cool to drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Check temperature.

In order not to damage the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), please do not prepare the food with too hot water.

Important: inappropriate preparation or use of this product can harm your child's health. carefully follow the following instructions.

Use a carefully washed and sterilized bottle teat and ring. Only use the scoop provided in the pack.

For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use made-up feeds immediately, and discard anything leftover at the end of the feed, bottle to be consumed within half an hour. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding.

Do not re-use leftovers and check the expiration date on the side of the can. After opening the can, HiPP 2 formula organic baby milk powder can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.

Important Notes

Exclusive breastfeeding in the first 6 months is ideal for your baby. As with any following baby formulas, HiPP follow-on milk 2 BIO COMBIOTIK® should not be used as a mother's milk substitute in the first 6 months, but should only be used after 6 months as part of a mixed diet. Your baby's individual growth and developmental needs may require introducing supplemental foods as part of a mixed diet into your baby's diet at an earlier stage. Please consult your health care professional or health care provider. Make sure your baby eats a balanced diet for a healthy life.

Like mother's milk, all infant formula contains carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged teeth contact with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay and thus to health problems. Do not let your child suck the bottle permanently and change to cup-feeding as soon as possible.

When to start Hipp Dutch stage 1?
Hipp Dutch stage 1 formula is suitable for babies from birth to 6 months of their age. The ingredients used in baby formula are organic and easy to digest. Dutch stage 1 doesn’t contain starch because it may be difficult to digest for newborns.

Hipp Dutch stage 1 vs stage 2?
Hipp Dutch stage 1 is suitable for newborns from birth to 6 months. Hipp Dutch stage 1 contains Choline, Mortierella Alpina Oil whereas Dutch stage 2 is suitable from 6 months to 12 months and contains different omega-3 fatty acids (ALA) and amino acids. The nutritional proportion varies with each stage. Both the formulas are organic and can be used with a doctor’s advice.

Hipp Dutch stage 2 vs UK stage 2?
Hipp Dutch contains probiotics that can be found in mother’s milk and it doesn’t include soy and starch. Whereas UK stage 2 contains soy. Preferences vary in each country so Hipp formulas provide a wide variety of options to find out the best-suited formula for your baby.

Storage life of Hipp Dutch?
Hipp Dutch formulas can be used within 3 weeks after opening the packet. Never buy or use expired formula. It can be harmful to the baby health.

Prepared formulas can be reused?
It’s best to prepare formula for immediate use. For emergency, only freshly prepared formulas can be kept in fridge and must use within 24 hours. At room temperature prepared formula can be used within 2 hours. Never reuse leftovers because saliva and formula together can form bacteria.

What is the difference between Hipp German and Dutch baby formulas?
The differences between the Hipp German and Dutch formulas are Probiotics and starch because people in each country prefer different ingredients than other countries. So these formulas are produced to satisfy all the customers from different countries. Hipp Dutch stage 1, 2, and 3 doesn’t contain starch whereas Hipp German formulas contain starch.
