This year, we have decided to give christmas a different approach, understanding this season as an opportunity to help, care and give.During the period of December 23 and December 31, 5% of all of the revenue received in our store, will be directly donated to Action Against Hunger, to help this children and their families.
We have partnered with Action Against Hunger, an NGO that supports children and families throughout the world fighting malnutrition and hunger. We will be working by their hand to support children suffering of Chronic Malnutrition and nutritional problems in Colombia, South America.
We want to make this event an opportunity to give to those whose lives have been hard, whose day to day life is a fight against all odds. But also an opportunity to create awareness and conscience in our community! This is why in this page you will find further information about this NGO, unique videos and information that will move your heart as much as it has moved ours.
As the world’s hunger specialist, their primary goal is to create a better way to deal with hunger. For more than 40 years, they have led a global movement that aims to end life-threatening hunger for good within our lifetimes. Their teams have been on the front lines, treating and preventing malnutrition across more than 45 countries.
They save the lives of children and their families. They are there for them before and after disaster strikes. They enable people to provide for themselves, see their children grow up strong, and for whole communities to prosper. They constantly search for more effective solutions, while sharing their knowledge and expertise with the world. They push for long-term change.
The 5% of the revenue, will be completely donated to aid children and families in need in Colombia. The funds will be allocated to help children in a state of malnutrition. For instance, for every $50 USD donated, a whole 6-week treatment for a child suffering of malnutrition will be funded. This means, they will be healed and supported out of this miserable state.
