About HiPP Combiotic Stage 1
This formula supports your baby's digestion.
HiPP stage 1 infant formula is suitable from birth up until 6 months of age.
This formula is excellent as a complete source of food or as a supplement to breastmilk. HiPP uses probiotic lactic acid cultures cultivated from real breast milk to make a natural formulation that aids with your baby’s digestion.
Stage 1 is specifically formulated with a lower lactose content and is free of maltodextrin which makes it gentle on tiny tummies and may help to alleviate issues like colic, constipation, bloating, and gas.
Stage 1 also contains mild organic starch to create a smooth creamy-textured formula that gives your baby energy when they need it the most by enhancing the bioavailability of carbohydrates.
Only the highest-quality clean EU organic ingredients are used in HiPP products to provide your baby with all of the essential nutrients they need as they grow! Each box contains 600g of formula.

Preparation
1.
Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50° C* / 104-122° F*. Make sure water is not too hot.2.
Add desired amount of boiled water (see Table) to sterilized bottle.3.
Measure recommended amount of formula powder (see Table). Level the powder on the measuring spoon and add the powder to the water.4.
Close the bottle and shake thoroughly. Cool to drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Check temperature, e.g. with thermometer.*In order not to damage the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), please do not prepare the food with too hot water.
The amount of Hipp bio formula per bottle can vary from bottle to bottle. Recommended drinking quantities and the number of bottles per day are for guidance only. Your baby does not necessarily have to drink the bottle completely. Please use the enclosed measuring spoon only! One flattened spoonful per 30 ml / 1.01 oz water.

Very fast delivery, unfortunately extremely overpriced
Compared to buying the product in a store in Germany (less than 12 EUR per box, which is about $13.50 per box), the price tag here is very hefty (single box $38, in bulk $25 per box when buying 40 boxes). As a young family, I think that is extremely overpriced. The product itself is excellent, though. Delivery from Berlin to US West Coast in just 5 days.
