The same for every formula
- Clean first. Wash your hands and sterilize bottles, teats and rings, especially for babies under 12 months.
- Use the scoop in the can. Scoops differ between brands, so never mix them. Level each scoop without pressing it down.
- Make each bottle fresh. Use it within the time on the label and throw away what your baby leaves.
- No microwave. It heats unevenly and can scald. Check the temperature on your wrist before feeding.
Water temperature is where formulas differ. Formulas with live cultures (such as HiPP Combiotic) ask for cooler water so the cultures survive. Open your formula below for its exact instructions.
Close the bag tightly after each use, keep the can in a cool, dry place and use it within the time on the label once opened.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions precisely when preparing infant formula. Improper preparation or storage of the prepared bottle over a longer period can lead to health problems, e.g., due to the growth of unwanted bacteria.
Prepare your baby's formula before every feeding and feed immediately. Do not heat feeds in the microwave due to the risk of scalding. Do not reuse the leftovers of the prepared formula. Clean the bottle, teat, and ring thoroughly. Close the opened bag of formula powder tightly after use. Store the container in a cool, dry place and use it for the shelf life after opening.
