1. Protein Blend: A Harmonious Mix of Casein and Whey

To mimic the natural changes in breast milk, HiPP adjusts the casein-to-whey ratio of organic skim milk in their Stage 2 formula to a balanced mix of 60% casein and 40% organic whey. This optimal balance, as seen in mature human milk, supports the increased energy needs of infants and ensures that HiPP formula Stage 2 keeps them full and satisfied longer!

 2. Adapted Vitamins and Minerals for Growth and Development

At this time of development, certain micronutrients like potassium citrate need to increase. To accommodate this, HiPP includes nourishing ingredients like iron in the form of iron sulfate to support brain development and Vitamin D for improved calcium absorption and bone strength.

HiPP organic formula is also loaded with Omega-3 and Omega-6, containing both DHA & ARA, which are derived from fish oil and Mortiella Aplina oil. What is the difference between HiPP stage 2 formulas? Dutch, German & UK

HiPP offers three unique organic formula lines: HiPP German, HiPP Dutch, and HiPP UK. Each HiPP formula Stage 2 offers the same high-quality organic formula with slight adjustments made to accommodate regional tastes and regulations for infant nutrition. With the exception of HiPP specialty formulas, all HiPP baby formulas are certified organic by the European Union.

• HiPP UK Stage 2 organic formula is made in Germany and packaged in the UK. It is starch-free and contains all of the nutrients mentioned above, including prebiotics (organic galacto oligosaccharides); however, it omits probiotics.

• HiPP Dutch Stage 2 is created in Germany, but it is packed in the Netherlands. HiPP Dutch stage 2 formula is starch-free and contains prebiotics and lactobacillus fermentum hereditum®, which are natural probiotic lactic acid cultures originally extracted from real breast milk.

• HiPP German Stage 2 is both made and packaged in Germany. HiPP formula Stage 2 HiPP formula comes in two versions, the difference between them being that one contains starch and the other is starch-free. Both versions are enriched with probiotics and prebiotics.

HiPP Goat Milk Formula

If cow's milk isn't your baby's preference, HiPP also carries a gentle goat milk formula, which is made to soothe sensitive stomachs. This is because goat milk is naturally composed of a simple A2 protein structure, which, compared to cow's milk, is often digested more quickly, easily, and completely by babies.

HiPP's goat milk is made with a base of organic skimmed goat milk, and like human milk, it contains prebiotic galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) to support digestive health further and boost the immune system.

HiPP's goat milk line is made following EU organic guidelines, which means that the use of GMOs, harmful pesticides, hormones, steroids, or antibiotics (unless necessary for the animal's health) is prohibited throughout the production process.

HiPP Goat Stage 2 is free from both starch and maltodextrin, meaning it relies solely on organic lactose as the main carbohydrate. It also makes it more gentle on your baby's tummy! HiPP Goat formula Stage 2 is packed full of essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals and contains an increased iron content compared to HiPP formula Stage 1.

HiPP Comfort is a special all-stage formula made to support babies from birth to 12 months of age who suffer from digestive issues such as lactose-related 3-month colic, flatulence, and constipation. HiPP comfort supports natural digestion in three ways. First, it has a base of skim milk that has been broken down - through a process called hydrolyzation - into a more simple molecular form, increasing digestibility and lessening allergens. It also has a reduced lactose content and contains probiotics and prebiotics.

HiPP Anti-Reflux is a formula for all stages intended to help manage reflux and regurgitation from birth up until your child turns 1.
