Difference between HiPP Stage 1 formulas

HiPP Bio Combiotik Formula Dutch, German & UK

• HiPP UK Stage 1 is made in Germany and packaged in the UK. The UK version of HiPP Stage 1 formula is starch-free and contains all of the nutrients mentioned above except probiotics.

• HiPP Dutch Stage 1 is made in Germany, but it is packed in the Netherlands. HiPP Dutch formula is starch-free and is enriched with lactobacillus fermentum hereditum®, which are natural probiotic lactic acid cultures originally extracted from real breast milk.

• HiPP German Stage 1 is both made and packaged in Germany. HiPP Combiotic Stage 1 formula is free of maltodextrin and contains mild organic starch to create a smooth, creamy-textured organic formula. It also contains lactobacillus fermentum hereditum® probiotics. 

HiPP Goat Milk Formula Stage 1

For parents seeking an alternative to cow's milk formula, HiPP also offers a gentle and reliable goat milk formula. The quality of this formula is consistent with all other HiPP products, which means that throughout the production process, HiPP Stage 1 formula is made without the use of GMOs, harmful pesticides, hormones and steroids, or antibiotics (unless necessary for the animal's health).

HiPP goat milk has a base of organic skimmed goat milk and is especially gentle due to its simple A2 milk protein structure and natural inclusion of prebiotic galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), which support the digestive system and boost the immune system.

To keep this formula extra gentle, HiPP Goat Stage PRE is free from both starch and maltodextrin and instead relies on lactose as the main carbohydrate. It is also packed full of nutrients such as vitamin D, A, and E, minerals, and essential fatty acids (DHA and ARA).

HiPP Comfort is formulated to address common digestive-related issues such as lactose-related 3-month colic, flatulence, and constipation from birth. It offers relief through reduced lactose content, hydrolyzed milk proteins, and the inclusion of probiotic lactic acid cultures and prebiotics to support healthy digestion. This formula can also be used to regulate or loosen stool and promote healthy bowel movements. Importantly, this formula is suitable for babies from birth to 12 months old as it is an all-stage formulation.

HiPP Anti-Reflux (German)

HiPP Anti-Reflux is another all-stages formula made to help manage reflux and regurgitation from birth to 12 months. While most babies outgrow this tendency once their digestive systems have matured, this unique formulation is here to help in the meantime. The inclusion of a natural thickening agent derived from carob fruit is designed to reduce regurgitation and vomiting while also acting as a natural dietary fiber. This means that your baby's stool may become softer when using the formula.

HiPP HA (German and Dutch) Stage 1

HiPP makes hypoallergenic formulas in both German and Dutch versions. Both offer a base of extensively hydrolyzed cow milk proteins that are low in allergens alongside a combination of prebiotics and probiotics.
