    Shipping & Delivery

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination. Orders shipped outside of the European Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Organic's Best has no control over these charges, nor can Organic's Best predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

We exclusively ship all orders with insured express delivery to ensure all orders arrive in only 1-5 business days.

Please note that delivery times can vary depending on the region we are shipping to. Most orders arrive earlier than our estimated time frames.

This is a rare situation, as most of our orders arrive correctly at our customers' home. However, if your order didn't arrive because it's stuck in customs, lost, or any other circumstance, we will offer to resend the order free of charge or refund it.

    Product Questions & Ingredients

All our infant formulas and follow-on milks underlay strict European standards. So even inexpensive brands meet the basic nutritional needs of infants.

Some manufacturers, such as Holle and Lebenswert, for example, offer products that are as natural as possible, while suppliers such as HiPP focus on getting as close as possible to real breast milk while maintaining organic quality.

Our direct supply chain guarantees an expiration date of 6 months into the future or more. This applies to powdered formula, as baby food and Ready To Feed formula can have shorter expiration dates.

If you want to know the exact expiration date of a product, please contact our Customer Support.

Probiotics are live bacteria found especially in fermented food and also in breast milk. These bacteria also live inside our large intestine and are known as gut flora. They play an enormously important role not only for digestion but also for the immune system.

New to this world, babies first have to build up this wall of bacteria. The large intestine has to be colonized with useful bifido and lactic bacteria, preventing disease-causing germs from settling in. Their main role is to boost the immune system, improve food digestibility, and reduce metabolic disorders.

Some manufacturers of baby food, such as HiPP, emphasize on the importance of probiotics and prebiotics.

The Combiotik line contains Lb. fermentum, which is a bacteria they cultivated from real breast milk. If you are looking for a formula rich in probiotics HiPP Combiotik and HiPP Combiotik HA is the best option for you.

During natural birth, babies are exposed to their first dose of bacteria when passing through the birth canal. Babies born via cesarean section or prematurely do not receive the same amount of probiotics and particularly benefit from being fed probiotics from a young age.

Prebiotics are indigestible fibers (i.e. complex carbohydrates such as galacto-oligosaccharides or GOS in short) and are, so to speak, a precursor of bacteria: They enter the colon undigested and serve as food for probiotics. They regulate digestion and prevent constipation. When your baby is already eating a mixed diet you can add prebiotic foods to the plan: i.e. beans, peas, bananas, berries, and oats are high in prebiotic fibers.

Oligosaccharides are indigestible fibers (prebiotics) found in breast milk (HMO) that serve as food the healthy bacteria in the intestine that is responsible for a healthy immune system and digestion. Breastfeeding a baby is the easiest form to improve the gut microbiome of your baby. Nonetheless, when feeding formula you don’t have to worry about your baby not getting the same nutrients.

Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) derived from cow’s milk lactose are almost identical in their structure to HMO’s and improve your baby’s gut flora just as well - for a happy stomach. And mommies know, a better digestion means less fussiness and a better sleep schedule!

Mostly, you will come across the label "DHA" (docosahexaenoic acid) and "ARA" (arachidonic acid), which are long-chained polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCP).

As you probably already know, LCP’s are essential for all humans - not only children. They play a central role in the normal development and functioning of the brain and central nervous system, as well as impacting on immunological reactions.

Because humans cannot produce them themselves, they have to be part of your diet. During pregnancy, the fetus obtains ARA and DHA through the placenta. Both premature babies and full-term babies need to ingest them with their diet.

Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids belong to the LCP group and are essential for a healthy mental and physical development. Humans produce DHA and ARA when they ingest α-Linolenic acid and Linoleic acid which are Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids respectively. To ensure that babies obtain enough DHA, baby food manufacturers have always added it to their formulas. The amount is regulated by law, therefore, you will always find enough Omega-3 fatty acids in every formula.

Because of the development of the brain, nervous system and vision, babies bodies have a high demand for LCP’s. Every formula contains age-appropriate amounts of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids to provide your child with enough DHA & ARA ensuring that your child obtains all essential nutrients - for a happy brain!
