    Holle Organic Goat Milk Formula

A digestible formula for sensitive tummies.

One of the most common allergies afflicting children under 3 years old is an allergy to cow’s milk. To ensure babies with a cow’s milk allergy or sensitivity are
getting the nutrients they need, Holle has developed their Organic Goat Milk Formula!

Compared to cow’s milk, research has shown that goat’s milk is more quickly and completely digested by babies. A leading factor in cow’s milk indigestion is the Alpha S1 Casein milk protein which Holle’s Organic Goat Milk Formula contains 89% less of.

Instead, it’s formulated with A2 goat milk protein which is composed of smaller fat molecules and less lactose for easier digestion.

Holle’s goat milk is EU organic certified and sourced from biodynamic farms that use chemical-free agricultural practices that respect animal welfare and environmental sustainability.

Your baby deserves the best, that’s why Holle’s formula is free of artificial sweeteners and GMOs. It’s packed full of nutrients like vitamin A, D, and E, minerals, and essential fatty acids (DHA and ARA).

Holle’s formulas are staged to meet the nutritional needs of your baby at every developmental milestone:

    - Stage PRE and 1 are intended for babies of 0 to 6 months
    - Stage 2 (this formula) for babies of 6+ months
    - Stage 3 for babies of 10+ months
    - Stage 4 is for babies of 12+ months.

Babies all over the world are thriving on these premium formulas, and we think your little ones will too!

Why we love Holle Organic Goat’s Milk Formula!

    • EU Organic Certified
    • Premium quality milk from happy goats
    • Easy to digest formula for babies with cow milk sensitivities
    • Simple ingredients that support development
    • Chemical & hormone-free agriculture and manufacturing

    About Holle Goat Stage 2

Ingredients that protect your baby's health.

Holle stage 2 formula is suitable for use from 6 months of age as a substitute for or complement to breastmilk. This formula is intended to be used as part of a mixed diet of bottle feeds and weaning until the end of the baby's 3rd year of life.

This gentle formula is made with organic whole goat’s milk which is more easily digested by babies with intolerances to proteins found in cow’s milk making it an ideal alternative!

Its simple ingredients list contains only a small number of strictly regulated organic ingredients that are formulated to be as close to breast milk as possible.

These high-quality ingredients are soft on sensitive stomachs and may help to alleviate digestive problems like constipation, gas, bloating, and cramps or colic.

Holle uses organic starch and corn-derived maltodextrin to create a smooth creamy texture that helps keep your baby feeling full for longer making feeding time a breeze.

This nutritionally complete formula will help support your little one’s natural digestion keeping them healthy and happy. Each box contains 400g of formula.

    Important Note:
If your baby has been formally diagnosed with a cow’s milk allergy (rather than merely showing signs of sensitivity), Holle Goat Milk Formulas may not be suitable due to the similar protein structures in cow’s and goat’s milk.

Instead, you may wish to consider a hypoallergenic formula. These formulas contain hydrolyzed proteins that are less likely to produce an allergy response.

    Important Notes

A mother’s milk is the most natural and beneficial nourishment for your baby – including all nutrients and vitamins needed. Holle Organic Infant Goat Milk Follow-on Formula 2 is specially formulated for the dietary needs of infants after six months and should be given as a part of a mixed diet. Do not use bottle-feeding milk as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months of age. The decision to start weaning your baby before the 6th month should be made with the help of a healthcare professional and depends on your babyʼs individual development and needs and read the product details before using it.

Do not allow your baby to suck on its bottle continuously to prevent possible damage to teeth. Pay special attention to your baby’s dental hygiene once his or her first tooth has come through.

Follow-On Formula stage 2 Holle Organic Goat Milk is ideal for infants 6 months of age and older who are already eating one solid meal a day. It offers a strong alternative to the cow's milk-based follow-on formula.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of goat milk formula over cow milk formula?
In a nutshell, the benefits of goat milk formula over cow milk formula are as follows: Goat milk formula is closer in composition to human milk than cow milk formula is, making it easier for some babies to digest. It contains smaller fat globules and different proteins, which may be gentler on sensitive stomachs. Also, milk typically contains two main types of beta-casein protein, which are A1 and A2 beta-casein. Goat milk is naturally A2 or in other words, free from A1 beta-casein. Unlike cow's milk which is typically A1, A2 goat’s milk is better suited to sensitive tummies because it is digested quickly and more easily by babies.

When should I start feeding my baby Holle Goat Stage 2 formula?
Holle Goat Stage 2 formula is suitable from the 6th month onwards.

Can I use Holle Goat Stage 2 formula as a sole source of nutrition for my baby?
While it is nutritionally complete, it is recommended for Holle Goat Stage 2 formula to be used alongside complementary feeding from 6 months.

Is Holle Goat Stage 2 formula organic?
Yes, in addition to being certified organic by the European Commission, the milk in Holle's stage 2 goat's milk formula is produced at Demeter-certified biodynamic farms, which is the highest organic certification in Europe!

Can I switch between regular formula and goat milk formula?
Yes, as long as it is recommended and monitored by your pediatrician. Always rely on a healthcare professional.

Does Holle Goat Stage 2 have iron?
Yes, Holle Goat Stage 2 formula contains 1 mg per every 100 mL of prepared formula.

Does Holle Goat Stage 2 contain palm oil?
No, Holle Goat Stage 2 formula is free from palm oil.

Is Holle Goat Stage 2 formula lactose-free?
No, Holle Goat Stage 2 formula does contain lactose. It is not suitable for babies with lactose-intolerance.

Can goat formula cause an allergy?
Goat milk formula is not suitable if your child has a medically diagnosed cow's milk allergy. There are differences between the protein composition of goat milk and cow's milk, but an allergic reaction can still occur with goat milk. Fortunately, a confirmed cow's milk protein allergy occurs in only 3% of infants. A much larger group experiences a sensitivity reaction when drinking cow's milk. In these cases, goat milk can indeed be a good alternative. Because every child is different, we recommend that you consult your pediatrician regarding your child's symptoms and discuss options for goat milk formula.

Can Holle Goat Stage 2 cause constipation?
Holle Goat Stage 2 formula can help with constipation because goat milk is generally easier to digest, however, some babies can still suffer from constipation even with goat formula. It ultimately depends on each baby's individual digestive system.

What should I do if my baby doesn't tolerate goat milk formula well?
Stop using Holle Goat Stage 2 formula immediately and consult your pediatrician.

Where can I buy Holle Goat Stage 2 formula?
You can buy Holle formula on the Organic's Best online store.

How should I prepare Holle Goat Stage 2 formula?
To prepare Holle Goat Stage 2 formula, begin by boiling fresh drinking water and allowing it to cool down to approximately 40°-50° C (104°-122° F). Next, add half of the required water to the baby bottle. Using a measuring spoon, carefully scoop the formula powder and level it on the spoon, then add the advised amount of formula to the bottle. Afterward, securely close the bottle and shake it thoroughly to ensure proper mixing. Continuing the process, add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it thoroughly once again to achieve a consistent mixture. Afterward, cool the formula to a suitable drinking temperature of approximately 37° C (98.6° F). It's essential to check the temperature using a thermometer or the inside of your wrist to guarantee that it's safe for your baby to consume.

How many ounces of prepared Holle Goat Stage 2 formula does one box make?
One box of Holle Goat Stage 2 makes approximately 101.45 fluid ounces of prepared formula, which would be equivalent to 20 bottles of 5 ounces.

The prepared formula is good for 2 hours at room temperature if unused, and 1 hour once feeding has begun. Make sure to throw away any remaining formula after feeding. If absolutely necessary, untouched formula can be kept in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
