1.
Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.2.
Fill kettle with 1 litre of freshly run tap water (do not use repeatedly boiled water). Boil and leave to cool for 30 minutes, so it remains at the temperature of at least 70℃ / 158°F. Measure the required water into a sterilised bottle.3.
Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.4.
Place on a sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve powder.5.
Cool to a natural body temperature. Always test the temperature of the liquid on your wrist prior to feeding your baby.Important: inappropriate preparation or use of this product can harm your child's health. Carefully follow the feeding instructions.
Use a carefully washed and sterilized bottle, teat, and ring. Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use prepared feedings immediately (within half an hour), and discard anything leftover at the end of the feed.
Do not heat feeds in a microwave; hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding, and do not re-use leftovers.
Check the expiry date on the side of the can. After opening the can, Kendamil Organic Stage 2 can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.
Important Notes
Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Kendamil Stage 2 is a nutritionally complete follow-on formula made from organic cow's milk and can be used from 6 months onwards as part of a weaning diet. It is suitable for bottle feeding in combination with breastfeeding and also when breastfeeding is not taking place. Please consult your pediatrician before introducing this formula to your baby.
Like breast milk, all baby formula contains carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged teeth contact with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay and, thus, to health problems. Do not let your child suck the bottle permanently, and change to cup-feeding as soon as possible.
