Preparation

Wash hands and sterilise all equipment following the manufacturers' instructions.2.
Boil 1 litre of freshly run water and leave to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.3.
Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the Feeding Guide).4.
Using the scoop provided add the correct number of scoops of powder – 1 level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx. 30 ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.5.
Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until all the powder has dissolved (approx. 15 seconds).6.
Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C-98.6° F) by holding the bottle under cold running water. Transfer the milk to a beaker if required and feed immediately. ALWAYS test the temperature of the milk before feeding.Follow the instructions precisely when preparing toddler formula. Improper preparation or storage of the prepared bottle over a longer period of time can lead to health problems, e.g. due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare formula before every feeding and feed immediately. Do not reuse the remaining prepared formula or leftovers. Clean bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Close the opened bag tightly after use. Store dry and at room temperature and use within 3 weeks after opening. Do not heat organic baby food in the microwave (risk of scalding).

Exclusive breastfeeding in the first 6 months is ideal for your baby. As with any follow-on baby milk formulas, HiPP UK stage 3 COMBIOTIK® should not be used as a breast milk substitute in the first 6 months, but should only be used as part of a mixed diet from 12 months onwards. Your baby's individual growth and developmental needs may require introducing dietary supplements as a complement to the weaning from 6 months into your baby's diet at an earlier stage. Please consult your health care provider. Make sure your baby eats a balanced diet for a healthy life.
Like breast milk, all infant formula contains carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged teeth contact with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay and thus to health problem.
