Preparing the feed:
1.
Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the feeding bottle, teat and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes.2.
Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to approx. 40°-50°C* / 104-122°F*.3.
Pour the correct amount of the cooled water (see Table) into the bottle.4.
Fill the measuring spoon loosely and level it off. Add the recommended number of scoops of milk powder to the bottle.5.
Close the bottle and shake vigorously.6.
Allow to cool to a drinking temperature of approx. 37°C / 98.6°F. Check the temperature before feeding. Now it's ready!*In order to preserve the natural lactic acid cultures, do not pour boiling water directly onto the milk powder.
IMPORTANT: Inadequate preparation or use of this product can harm your child's health. Follow the advice below carefully:
Use a carefully washed and sterilized bottle, teat and ring.
Use only the measuring spoon provided in the tin.
Always prepare the bottle just before the meal and give it to your baby immediately. The bottle must be consumed within half an hour.
Do not heat the milk in a microwave (risk of burns).
Do not reuse leftovers: always discard what is left of an unfinished bottle.
Check the expiry date on the bottom of the tin. After opening, a tightly closed tin of HiPP 2 BIO Combiotik® milk powder can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.
Important Notice
Breast milk is the best for your baby. HiPP 2 BIO Combiotik® milk must not be used as a replacement for breast milk during the first six months of life. HiPP 2 BIO Combiotik® milk is only suitable as a specific food for infants aged at least six months and is only one part of a varied diet. Ask your doctor whether your baby is ready for a varied diet.
Like breast milk, all infant formulas contain carbohydrates. Frequent or prolonged contact of the teeth with liquids containing carbohydrates can lead to tooth decay. Do not let your child use the bottle for prolonged sucking, and teach your baby to drink from a cup as early as possible. Take care of your baby's oral hygiene from the first teeth, especially before bedtime.
