Preparation

Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.2.
Boil fresh water and let cool for 30 minutes before adding powder. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Measure the required water into a sterilised bottle.3.
Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.4.
Place on a sterilised cap and shake well to dissolve powder. Remove cap and replace with a sterilised teat.5.
Cool to a natural body temperature. Always test the temperature of the liquid on your wrist prior to feeding your baby.For feeding your baby, add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30 ml of water (freshly boiled and cooled). Please refer to the feeding guide shown below and note this table should only be used as a guide. All babies are different and may require more or less than is shown. Kendamil Follow On Milk should be fed on demand. If you need more advice talk to your healthcare professional.

Use a carefully washed and sterilized bottle, teat, and ring. Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use prepared feedings immediately (within half an hour), and discard anything leftover at the end of the feed.
Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding, and do not re-use leftovers.
Check expiry date on the side of the can. After opening the can, Kendamil Stage 2 milk powder can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.
Important Notes
Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Kendamil Stage 2 is a nutritionally complete infant milk formula made from organic cow's milk and can be used from 6 months-onwards. Kendamil Stage 2 is suitable for bottle feeding in combination with breastfeeding, but also when breastfeeding is not taking place. Please check feeding information and talk to your clinic or pediatrician before the use of the infant formula milk.
Like mother's milk, all organic infant formula contains carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged teeth contact with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay and thus to health problems.
